The term Industry 4.0 indicates a trend of industrial automation that integrates some new production technologies to improve working conditions and increase productivity and production quality of works.
The industry 4.0 passes through the concept of smart factory which consists of 3 parts:

• Smart production:
  new production technologies that create collaboration between all the elements incrops or collaboration between operator, machine and cutting tools
  
• Smart services:
  all "infrastructure" and techniques that allow you to integrate the systems; but also all the structures that allow, in a collaborative way, to integrate the companies (supplier – client) with one another and with the external structures (roads, hub, waste management, etc.)
  
• Smart energy:
  ​all this always with an eye to energy consumption, creating better performing systems and reducing energy waste.
